Got a five pack of these with my Merkur 1904. Since I had already purchased a variety pack of blades containing the better known brands, I was in no hurry to try these, since I assumed they were low quality "throwaways." Well, you know what they say about assuming, right? These inexpensive blades were every bit as good as any of the other, more expensive blades. In fact, for some reason my shaving technique and these Egyptian blades are really in sync, no cuts and nice and smooth. Try them.

These are just amazing. Tried them with: Merkur HD (34c), Weishi, Feather Popular and Goodfella razor and they performed flawlessly. 3-4 shaves with each (your mileage may vary). Only complaint is there's no used razor safe on these (little carton boxes) but It's no biggie. Will buy again.

I received an assortment of shaving blades when I ordered my Weishi safety razor. A majority of the blades that came with the razor perform great, however these do not. On the first shave using a brand new rainbow blade, it felt more like it was pulling the hair from my face than cutting it. I was thinking that it may have been how I was holding the razor, or maybe just bad luck on the blade, but no. I swapped another Lord platinum blade in and it was like butter. I tried another of these rainbow blades earlier today (new blade) and it still felt like the hair was being pulled from my face rather than cut. I would not recommend these blades unless they are the only thing available.
