The BIG BEN BLADES work fine for me, great shave. To the beginner in wet shaving this is a good place to start. Razor blades are a personal preference to the type of beard you have,so try different types till you are happy with the shave.In my opinion these blades are fine.

I started using Big Ben blades after receiving them with a Merkur razor I purchased awhile ago. The blades are so sharp and of such high quality that my shave only required one pass to get the closeness I desired. A fresh blade will last me about 10 days. I placed an order for the Big Ben blades and received Lord's blades instead. I placed my order when the Big Ben blades were in stock. The Lord's blades can be found for less than $20.00 for the same quantity. The difference in price was not credited to me either. I've found the Lord's blades to be inferior to the Big Ben blades. They or comparable in quality to a Wilkinson blade available at my local pharmacy. Not pleased with this switch at all.
