I have owned several different clippers over the last 10 years. In addition I purchased a 00000 blade wanting a very close cut. The result is outstanding. Cuts great and fast. Would recommend to anyone. The weight feels great not to heavy not so light that it feels as though your not holding anything also the rubberized grip feels good in your hand. Hope this helps.

As a barber, I was looking for a powerful yet compact multi-speed clipper. I received the MVP and immediately plugged it in only to find what I must assume is a design flaw. When I got a firm grip on the body of the clipper, the motor completely slowed down. I tried the higher speed, but still the same problem. When I say firm grip, I'm not talking about trying to choke this thing out. I figure the plastic housing on the clipper must be too soft and/or too close to the motor.
If it functioned properly, this design would be ideal, but it just won't do at all.
Could be a defective clipper, but I am sending it back.
