Summary: Super Close Shave 2006-11-29
Comment: I've had the same Braun 3000 Series Shaver for almost 15 years. Over time I've tried several other newer and more expensive models by Braun, Norelco and Remington, but none can match the closeness of my old 3000 Series. The reason is Braun's 3000 Series Foil design. The foil is extremely thin and as flexible as a piece of paper, very much unlike the foils being made today. So it really conforms to your face and produces results as close as a blade. In addition, the series 3000 cutter block is larger and heavier than today's double cutters and it really plows through your beard with a lot of power for a faster shave as well, without having to go over and over certain areas. If you're lucky enough to own or find a Braun 3000 Series Shaver, I highly recommend the 3000 Series foil and cutter block. Nothing can beat it.
