Have used one of these for over two years (weekly trims and periodic shaving of my dog <grin>) and the battery finally died (won't hold charge). Attachments are great, easy to use. The shaver is like the energizer bunny, just keeps going...until it doesn't.
Regarding the pull mentioned by other reviewer - I did run into this occasionally, mostly as the shaver aged under fairly heavy use.
I suspect the other reviewer had either not fully charged the unit before use or the blades are out of alignment. Solution:
1) (read manual and) fully charge before using
2) try adjusting height of blades with switch, sometimes that fixes it or
3) loosen and readjust blade unit.
I also found that as the shaver reached its second year, it would pull when the motor would sometimes shift into "hyper drive," motor racing and it doesn't cut very well (I don't know what that's about, although it seems to happen when the shaver is running down and needs to be...Read more

I bought this for $30 from somewhere else and it was brand new. It had everything. It just didn't do what it's suppose to, it pulls the hair instead of trimming it. I ended up having to go to the barber again. Thanks but I'm never trying Conair's products again.
Invest in something a bit more expensive so you actually know it will work.
