we bought this while stationed in germany as it was dual voltage. it's a great little hair clipper. it's lasted us 6 years and we've only had to replace the blade once and the blades are only like 9.00 to order from conair. i would reccommend this to anyone especially those in the military as we find ourselves needing dual voltage more often than most. definately worth the price.

I have been using the basic Conair hair clippers for years. They are the best for the money, and if you want zero overlap this is as close as it gets. The only complaint I might have is that when drawing 220-240V the machine works a bit faster, less smooth, and noisy. Even though it's supposed to be dual voltage, I think it has an issue with the frequency being at 50 outside of the US, and that casues the machine overwork. This usually means a less comfortable shave/cut, and you probably wont be able to cut your hair as often because of some scrapes etc. On the whole, though, it is a good dual voltage hair clipper if you're traveling.
