Product Review

Flushes food debris form the hard to reach places between teeth or around implants, braces, and crowns.

Amazon.com Review

Tired of the dentist urging you to floss just a little more diligently? The path to dental righteousness can also be found through "oral irrigation." It's true. The Interplak dental water jet uses powerful pulses (2,650 per minute) to flush food debris from hard-to-reach places between teeth and under the gum line, thus preventing dreaded plaque (the leading cause of gingivitis and gum disease). Gentle yet thorough, this jet is an ideal tool for cleaning around crowns, bridgework, and orthodontic braces. It can be used with water, mouthwash, or antibacterial dental rinse. Seven different pressure settings enable you to vary water flow for maximum personal comfort and results, and a convenient button on the handle puts on/off control right at your fingertips. The 10-ounce tank comes with a protective cover and lifts off of the 5-1/4-inch-by-3-3/4-inch base for easy filling and cleaning. With 3 feet of coiled hose, you have plenty of room to maneuver. The unit's four color-coded, easily interchangeable jet tips make this an ideal unit for the whole family, and it'll leave your dentist speechless! --Erin Brown

A few years ago I gave up on the WaterPik for various reasons. After my last Waterpik failed completely, I bought a Conair Interplak WJ7 which I loved! I did the job plus it was simple in design, had plenty of 'power', a perfectly adequate resevoir (for me anyway), and a lower price that WaterPik. I then proceeded to buy one more each for my brother in FL, and my sister in MA, as I MUST have my WaterJet whenever I visit them. Later I decided to get another one for the downstairs bathroom, so ordered this one from Amazon in Jan 04, despite many poor reviews, which surprised me. Most of these one-star reviews cited low power. Not a problem I figured, so continued on with the order. Bottom line, this new Water Jet was a Model WJ7B, included some hokey attachments, and horrors -- low power!!! I tried to use it, but finally gave up and actually threw it away in disgust. How could Conair ever let such a poor performer get into production? On the good side, a search of...Read more

I had a WaterPik many years ago, and have really missed it. The Interplak just doesn't have enough power. I was able to use Level 7 from day 1. Since it doesn't have much power, I run out of water before making it around my whole mouth. It is better than nothing, but I wish it had more pressure so I would feel more refreshed. My suggestion is - keep looking for a WaterPik.

It simply does not have enough power! The water reservoir is way too compact as well. It's merely 10 ounces! It was annoying to refill the water during the middle of cleaning. I bought a Waterpik brand oral irrigator instead and am much more satisfied.
