Usually I do 3 sprays to the upper chest. With cool water, I only need one. Maybe something's up with my nozzle but each spray is pretty dense. No matter, this is a good (not great) scent. It doesn't have the refined subtlety of others. Still a good one to have in the mix. My feeling is, a man should have at least 5 colognes for whatever mood you are in. Not sure I'd put this one in the 5 but definitely in 10.

BTW, I've noticed there is definitely a feedback war against Amazon fragrance sales. Ever notice how many reviews claim receiving a "fake" product and only have that one review by that reviewer? I have bought at least 8 fragrances off Amazon (direct) and all of them were legit.

When I was searching for Davidoff Cool Water to buy as a gift for my husband, I came across the product - Davidoff Cool Water Eau de Toilette Natural Spray for Men. I placed an order for the item (although it said packaging may differ). When I received the item, it turned out to be MILD DEODORANT SPRAY as opposed to what I wanted - an EDT spray. Even now discrepancies exist when I look back at the item on my Amazon Order page - My order says I purchased - Cool Water By Davidoff For Men. Mild Deodorant Spray 2.5 Ounces but when I click on the link, it shows me a page describing the product as an Eau de Toilette Natural Spray for Men. Feel like I was cheated. So anyone buying, please make sure you check the item carefully. Just because I paid $17, it didn't seem worth it to go through the trouble of returning the item. I'd rather buy another EDT from a better seller or another site online.

The Cool Water I received from Amazon is 100% authentic. The smell is exactly as it should be and it lasts throughout the day. It arrived in brand new original packaging from Davidoff in about 5 days. I will buy from them again in the future.
