This is a well-made attractive and sturdy stand. It's tall enough for a Merkur long-handle and wide enough to support a large badger brush without bristle interference. The base unscrews for easy transport and all parts wipe down clean for a spotless shine. As yet I have not seen any rusting or tarnish. This will last a lifetime from what I can see.

The stand is heavy and well-built . The stainless steel construction is what prompted me to buy it. Although this is a very functional/ well built stand, the brush hangs by the knot, NOT by the handle. This is not a bad thing necessarily, but something I was not aware of when purchasing. In many other stands, the brush hangs by the handle.
It fits my Merkur HD and Tweezerman badger brush well.

After looking for stands for my brush and razor I was suprized to see that some of the stands are fairly expensive [...] for just a basic chrome stand. I found this item and saw that it would do the job of both the razor and brush. Just got the stand last week. After removing it from the box it is fairly heavy. The chrome finish is easy to clean. The stand itself breaks down into three pieces so that it is easy to pack or break down to clean. It fits both the brush and razor great. I am very happy with this product and the seller.
