Being new to wet shaving I was not looking to invest in an expensive badger brush right from the begining. After looking around I came across this Escali badger brush. I was really holding me breath wondering what you kind of badger brush you get at this price. Let me say that this brush is way beyond my expectations. It works up a nice smooth lather, holds a lot of moisture and with continued use feels delightful on the face. The shedding I was expecting from a lower end brush was actually minimal. One thing I have learned about shaving brushes is you must dry them upside down on a stand or at the very least on it's side. Otherwise the brush well prematurely fall apart. I am pleased with this purchase. The bang for your buck is amazing.

I have been extremely pleased with the Escali badger brush. Although bargain-priced, it delivers excellent performance. It also seems to be sturdy, dries quickly and has not lost bristles despite vigorous use.

Having shaved with a brush for over 20 years I recently found myself in need of a new one and ordered several from Amazon to try. This brush was the best value by far. It is soft, made of quality bristles, and was very reasonable in price. My only gripe is that I would have liked it to be a bit fuller.
