This is a beautiful shave set with a great shaving brush. We purchased it to match our new bathroom fixtures. The handles fit snugly into the base and the whole unit wipes easily so water marks do not degrade the appearance. The only fault I have is that the shave handle is curved and a bit thin, which makes it awkward to use. Sometimes a period of adjustment is required before one becomes comfortable with a new tool, but I have not. I may go back to the cheap version sold at the department store and use this set as a decor item.
