The Artist Club RG razor is precision made from solid brass and plated in satin finished Chromium. The blade holder can be easily and completely disassembled for thorough cleaning. The handle has removable screw, which allows you to adjust the pivot tension. The razor handle is made of a special polymer that is exceptionally heat and chemical resistant. You can sterilize it in boiling water, sanitizing solutions, or even an autoclave.

The Feather&#39s shave quality has proven equal to or better than that of professionally honed and stropped straight razors. While the Feather Razor is used in the same manner, its finer edge and substantial weight improves the shave quality by eliminating the tendency to add pressure to the blade while shaving. If youre not interested in honing and stroping a straight razor but still want to use a great high quality product that is just as sharp if not sharper with disposable blades this is the razor for you.

The blade holder is made of high quality brass and the holder assembly grips the blade firmly in place using pressure. The best part about the razor is disassembly and clean up!

Simply apply pressure to the center of the blade holder and slide the front of the holder right off! Its machined and built perfectly.

Easily rinse any stray hair or soap or cream that may remain and dry off with a hair dryer or paper towel and slide the blade holder/assembly back into place.

This razor has fantastic weight and does the work for you. No pressure needed. Rarely does a product surpass my expectations and this razor definitely does.

This is truly a great razor, I wish I could have ran into this item years ago. The blades are pretty sharp. Definitely not for amateurs. I've never had a slit or a cut with this razor. You have to remember this isn't a toy for you to rush into things you need to take your time. It's an art that takes patience and precision. The only negative comment I could say about this razor is the cleaning up. At times I would get hair or shaving cream inside the razor slit. I Never had the same problem with other razors when it came to cleaning up the hair and product.

Coming from the half DE Parker razor, the build quality is a different world, plastic, metal, fit-n-finish, you name it. Ya, the blade is much better as well. One thing I don't quite care about this razor is it's snap and close mechanism to hold the blade in place. Maybe the design is clever by itself, but it's not the most straightforward way to hold the blade in place. On the other hand, the Parker single edge razor has the simple and yet extreme effective 3 piece design to hold the half DE firmly in place - easy to clean too! Cheap, reliable, effective, and get the job done! I bought this just for the name's sake really, to see how far I could get with $100 for a razor. Well, for what it is, it's well made and unique :)
