I realize now that after the second bust I should have given up, but Forfex is part of Babyliss, and they have an excellent reputation so I figured I was just having bad luck. But then the third pair stopped working! What happens with these, and my coworkers have had similar experiences, is that the charger stops working. Or somehow, the thing stops charging. Sometimes it's the base, and sometimes, it's the trimmer itself. It comes with detailed directions to prep the battery so this supposedly won't happen, but it doesn't work, and the "prepping" is a pain in the tushy. As in, before your first use you're supposed to let it charge for twelve hours, and then let the battery run itself out, and then charge it again for eight hours. So if you're a hairdresser and your old trimmers broke and you need these right away, good luck! And then it makes no difference! So, do yourself a favor and don't buy this item. She loves them. Says they are very quiet which does not frighten the younger kids while she uses them. This review is from: Conair Pro Cordless Trimmer (Health and Beauty) It may be more expensive than the average products from other brands, but you get a very sharp cutting experience that doesn't scratch the skin. It has a charging base, which is nice and looks descent. Easy to grap shape. My complain is the comps, they don't cut low enough. Because of that, it's a 4.5 out of 5.0 kind of product. |
