I was tried of spending all of my money at salons to get a brazilian wax done. I bought this product along with the wax warmer and the pre oil. I took 3 advils, waited half an hour and went to work. I got great results!! It didnt hurt any more than at the salon. In fact it hurt less because I got to keep the $80.00 I would have spent at the salon.

The first wax that was ever done on me was with a hard wax so I wanted a hard wax and since I'm trying the DIY-waxing all my wax products came from Gigi. The reviews on this wax were for the most part were great, and for newbies like myself it takes a lot of practice to use this wax (mind you I did a sphinx wax on my chacha and did my underarms using this wax). I read previous comments that said this wax turns flaky during use, what I found was that it turns flaky if you use a very thin layer of the wax on your skin or if you left the wax on the warmer until it turned runny -- this happened during the later part of my waxing session while I was doing my chacha (big mistake, but I did manage to get all the hair out of there).
When you put the wax in the warmer for about 45min, it turns into a sticky but not runny form (test: when you scoop the wax out from the warmer it should form a slight ball at the top and slowly slip down the stick, not slip down the stick like...Read more

First let me start by saying I have never been to a salon for a waxing. That said I have tried many waxes over the years to do my bikini area. All of them have failed spectacularly. I put the wax on, then stick on the strip, and pull. They never get the hair (I have coarse hair) and leaves a huge sticky mess. I was always disappointed and I would think I'm never doing that again.
I got this in a kit about a week and a half ago. It is very easy to use. MOST OF THE HAIR CAME OFF. I had a few strays here and there but no biggy when the wax actually did what it wa supposed too. Not much of a mess if you are careful.
For all those who are tired of shaving there bikini ares and are tired of the red itcky bumps I definitely recommend. That was the reason I started waxing. I got ingrown hairs EVERY time I shaved. It was very irritating. With this wax I have not gotten one yet. I also haven't had any growback so far. Wonderful!
