I finally decided to do it myself. The wax warmer by GiGi is perfect for me. It takes 20-30 minutes to melt the wax and you can control the heat level. I am very satisfied. My only recommendation is to purchase the card board ring that goes around the top. It will help keep the warmer clean. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: GIGI Wax Warmer (Model: 0225) (Health and Beauty) I was sick of going to the salon so I got this warmer to do at-home waxing (Bikini, leg, face, armpit). I love it! It doesn't get _too_ hot (but always test wax on your forearm first to be sure) and it's pretty fast. It takes about 20 minutes or so to heat up most of the wax on medium. I use the gigi waxes, so I can't speak for using other types of waxes in the machine, but those heat up very nicely. The machine itself does not get too hot when it's working, which is good for safety. I set it to Medium most of the time, since I like the wax slightly thicker than when it's on High. I am most impressed with the price, since this will pay for itself in one or two uses! 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By CK (East coast) - See all my reviews This review is from: GIGI Wax Warmer (Model: 0225) (Health and Beauty) I recently bought this product along with the GIGI all purpose honey wax. I absolutely love them. As mentioned in other reviews, it takes 30 mins for the wax to melt down to right waxing consistency. I used cloth strips for waxing and it was very good. Its fast ,easy and also less messy. I absolutely love it and would recommend this product . |
