Gillette MACH3 Turbo Shaving Cartridges (16 Cartridges)

The packaging and the cartridges themselves look just like the ones from the local drugstore, but don't be fooled. A new, genuine Gillette blade glides smoothly and cleanly over my face, while these blades feel as if I'm scraping my face with a metal rasp. (Fortunately, I had a genuine cartridge available so I could make an honest comparison.)

I don't know whether this is a counterfeit product, or factory reject Gillette blades, but take my advice: don't buy it!

I've tried Schick's just pathetic attempt at competing with the Mach 3 (the handle on every Schick I have ever owned has broken in a day or two not to mention a 2 month old Mach 3 blade cuts far better), other Gilette models but I always find myself back to a Mach 3.

The Mach 3 Turbo seems to be less prone to cutting oneself than the plain Mach 3, but I'm fairly sure the regular Mach 3 blades last longer.

The only other shaving razors out there I feel are anywhere as close are Parkers. They require more time, but the blades last forever and as long as you shave with the grain you'll never cut yourself. The only downside of the Mach 3 is if I'm impatient, or switch blades mid shaving then I'll usually end up looking like an emo kid by the time I'm done.
