This review is from: Gillette Sensor Shaving Cartridges for Men, 10-Count Packages (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty) Ok, so when I was out of work for a bit a few years ago i sat down and looked at all my expenditures at razors came up on the list. After some experimentation I came to the conclusion that something like a sensor two-blade razor was basically as effective as other more expensive options with three or four blades on them. This cost savings is further multiplied by the fact that, in order to fit more blades on those other razors, the blades are made much thinner and are more prone to wearing out. So a sensor blade like these are much cheaper and seem to last longer. This package is a good pack of 20...I'm not sure if the price is the best one out there, but i was able to throw this in an order and have it delivered rather then making a run to a store and having to remember to get these. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I have been shaving my head for about a dozen years now. When I started, I just used the same blades I was using on my face: Gillette Sensor. Every once in a while, I try something new. Perhaps it's in my christmas stocking. Maybe it's on super sale. Maybe it's all I can find at Costco. Regardless, they have all been failed experiments and I must go back to the plain, old Sensor.
Sensor Excel. Quattro. Mach 3. I have tried many things. What do all of these (and many more) have in common? They all have the little rumble strip before the blades. The rumble strip (i'm sure there is a more formal name) probably results in a smoother shave for many people, but for me the result is simply a bloody head. If Gillette every stops making these, I don't know what I will do. They do a fine job on my head and face and never leave me bloody. |
