I bought this to replace the one I broke and it came with a Sensor 3 cartridge as a free trial. I have to say that after using the Sensor 3 cartridge I wanted to throw the regular cartridges out. The better cartridges fit this handle and those are the ones I will be buying from now on.

I own the Gillette Atra (1977), Mach 3 (1998), Fusion (2006) and this razor - the Gillette SensorExcel (1990).
The Gillette Sensor Excel was highly rated in its heyday but with significant improvements in shaving technology today, the Gillette Sensor Excel just doesn't quite cut it anymore. The newer models of Gillette shavers, the Mach 3 and the Fusion, are vastly superior to the Sensor Excel.

I loved my Gilette sensor Excell, nice shave without those crazy prices to buy new blades.I highly recommend.A+++.Stop wasting your money with those fancy shavers.Just a new look doing same results.
