It very clearly states DO NOT RUB TOO HARD. SO OBVIOUSLY THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE DID. Also, even with regular shaving you don't go right to the beach afterwards and definitely don't use harsh chemicals on your legs either! My experience has been favorable. It works great on arms and fingers and toes (if your a hobbit) even on the mustache area ** but you must be super gentle with it** I, however, would not recommend this for legs or any place that gets actual stubble, as it can irritate it. You do have to be gentle and patient (um duh, grinding it into your skin will not make it work better!), but my goodness... my arms haven't been this smooth and hair-free since I was 4 years old.
