This review is from: Heavyweight All Metal Chrome Trac II compatible Razor and 10 Personna Twin 2 Blades (Health and Beauty) I'm delighted with this purchase. It is a heavy, well-balanced razor handle that accepts Trac II blades. The blades are quite easy to find under the Personna label. I've tossed my Mach 3, Quattro, and all other razors in favor of this one. 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Heavyweight All Metal Chrome Trac II compatible Razor and 10 Personna Twin 2 Blades (Health and Beauty) I purchased the heavyweight brass/chrome trac 2 razor handle and 10 personna trac 2 blades and loved it. I love the weight of the trac 2 razor handle and it looks nice in my bathroom. the trac 2 personna blades give me a good, close shave for less money too. so I usually try to buy in bulk. I was happy with my purchase of the trac 2 handle & blades. it was worth the money. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Heavyweight All Metal Chrome Trac II compatible Razor and 10 Personna Twin 2 Blades (Health and Beauty) I used a Gillette trac II for many years and when the handle broke I purchased something new, not realizing that the trac II was going to become extinct. So for a while I bought replacement blades for my new razor but the prices just kept going up and I finally refused to buy any more. Bought a few disposables (awful!) to get me through until I found something I liked (and discovered that my old tracII was no longer available, but that the replacement blades are).
This handle is nice and heavy, nice to look at and gets the job done well. The blades that came with it have worked very well so far and I'm so happy to have a razor that works and isn't going to cost me $3 per replacement. I'm sure the angle is designed more for a man, but it works just fine for me. The back of the handle where the refills slide in is mostly enclosed, so I slide the blades out a little bit to rinse well and then slide it back. |
