New from Merkur this year was the retro 38c model.This 39c is the slant bar head version of the model 38 razor.This razor allows one end of the blade to be more exposed than the other, which ensures a very close shave for heavy beards with the correct technique but may be too aggressive for some. At 102 mm or 4 inches long, the razor is longer than the 34 or HD series.It is beautifully engineered and balanced with a quality weighty feel and non-slip grip along the handle.
