This stand is excellent for safety razors and brushes. It appears several reviewers are using this stand incorrectly and giving it low ratings due to their error.
If the safety razor is laid horizonally in the groove on the top of the stand (not rested with the head in the groove) all is perfect! As a result, the stand works perfectly for a safety razor and brush (or a mach 3, Trac 2, etc).
This stand looks to be crafted by fine artisans. It is a gorgeous additon to my shave den! It holds the brush and virtually all safety razors perfectly. It is a great bargain and will help preserve your shave brush while storing it and your razor.

This was great for classing up my bathroom a bit. Better than just having my razor and brush just laying out/around.
It just so happened that this fit perfectly in my medicine cabinet. My new place doesn't have much counter space so it worked out great. The only drawback is that nobody will see it in there, except of course for the snoopers.

I bought this as an xmas gift for hubby. He loved it. It holds his brush and safety razor very nicely, and is sturdy so it doesn't tip over. We have a narrow bathroom medicine cabinet and it does fit. True to picture. Although his razor is not made exactly for this stand it works just fine and is pretty universal.
