This review is for people who use a wet/dry electric shaver in the shower.

Let me start off by saying that I love Neutrogena products and I use them exclusively in my house. And even though I have sensitive skin, this product left me unimpressed. Over the course of a few years, and in an effort to find a solution to razor burn and ingrown hairs, I discovered a system that works extremely well using the original Neutrogena Shave Cream. Just so you are aware of how I used this shave cream, let me describe my wet shaving procedure:

1. Get in the shower and wet my face with warm water and wash it with soap.
2. After washing my entire body, I shave last, so that the heat and steam has opened up all my pores and my facial hair is soft.

I'm a fan of non-foaming shaving gels. I've tried pretty much every product on the market. In terms of a favorite, my incumbent was King of Shaves AlphaGel Shaving Gel, Supercooled Menthol - 5.95 fl oz. I think this new product from Neutrogena might displace KoS from the top spot.

The Neutrogena cream goes on very thin and light yet affords a very good amount of protection. My Fusion razor glides effortlessly across the thin sheen. Only a small dollop is required to cover my face. [An earlier reviewer says that the 5.1 oz of product only lasts a week. My favorite shave cream/gel. I've used this for a few years now and still love it. Feels great, shaves great, and leave skin feeling great. Great bargain.
