Although I'm not a man, I decided to try this shave gel when I noticed that the dyes and heavy fragrances in women's shaving creams were drying out my skin. I used Nivea for a couple of weeks and, voila, no more dry, itchy legs! I was able to get a close shave with no irritation. I also like its nice, clean scent. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is the price. It's kind of expensive for drugstore shaving cream. But if you don't mind the price and have sensitive skin, then this is the shaving gel for you.

Although I occasionally try other brands, I've been a committed user of Edge shaving cream since the presidency of ....yes, of Gerald Ford.
Nivea's sensitive shaving gel has changed my loyalties. I have dry skin --especially in the winter-- and need to take extra measures to keep it moist while avoiding nicks and cuts from the blade. Since I don't go around unshaved, I'm always on the lookout for any advantage in the war between skin and blade.
Nivea is mildly (and pleasantly) scented, and provides excellent protection. Nice stuff; choose with confidence. No matter how tough you may be, the skin on your face is always looking for a little tenderness. Combine with Nivea post-shave...Read more

"Nivea Shaving Gel for Sensitive Skin' is probably the best shaving gel I have ever used. It is ideal for those of us who have sensitive skin in the neck and beard area that becomes red and sometimes inflamed after shaving. This shaving gel allows me to shave very close both with the grain and against the grain without irritation.
I have been shaving my head for over 10 years and this shaving gel allows me to get the cleanest, closest and smoothest head possible. Even after shaving my head with the grain and against the grain and doing it several times at one shaving I get no irritation and never get a cut with the razor. I recommend this shaving gel to anyone who wants the clean shiny smooth bald look on their head. I also recommend it for the shaving of the face for closeness without irritation.
