My kids have been lucky to have pretty healthy teeth. Obviously brushing, flossing and seeing a dentist regularly is a big part of it, but anything I can find to make some of that easier is fine with my kids.
We currently have the Oral-B Vitality Dual Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush at home, but it's not exactly something you can pack and take with you on an extended trip or even overnight. So when I saw the Oral-B CrossAction Power Battery-Powered Toothbrush, Pack of 3 on sale I decided to pick them up.
Upon opening I was very happy with my purchase. There had been some concern over the batteries NOT being replaceable, but I found this to be false. You can easily...Read more

I got these electric toothbrushes because the hygienist told them to use an electric toothbrush to prevent further erosion from overbrushing. I bought a three pack of these because I tend to procrastinate when it's time to replace them. But I've been using the first one it seems like forever and it hasn't had to be replaced. so i am very satisfied.

For a travel toothbrush, it is a good choice vs. the 'ol manual brushes. That said, it doesn't quite compare to our counter top OralB which seems faster. The brush action on this also seems less refined than a counter model's brush action.
Besides for travel, this is also OK for home so that when brushing time comes, the kids can each have their own rather than compete to be first at the counter-top OralB. It can also be more fun for some compared to a manual brush.
At under 7 bucks, the price was good and it even comes with the battery. Compare that to the lofty price of some wiz-bang manual brushes these days and this looks even better.
In sum, if you think this might be for you, then next time your in the market for a manual brush, you might just give one of these a try instead and then decide for yourself.
