Before reading, please note that for some odd reason, this seller is selling a European 220V model.
Be careful and make sure you buy the 110volt US version.
I chose the Platinum Spirit over the Fast Feed because of the over the ear comb's and it is a much much newer model. I believe the Fast Feed originally came out 10 years ago? I also purchased the 10 comb set for Oster clippers and it fits well.
The clippers just hums right through my hair and it feels very good to cut my own hair and finally have a decent set of clippers. Overal contruction feels very high quality. The grip is good and doesn't get too hot with my 20-25 minute hair cuts. The blade is extremely sharp and is ADJUSTABLE from 000 to size 1! This is the OTHER reason why I chose this over the Fast Feed.
Bottom line is this is an excellent set of clippers and DO NOT let the idiot who bought the Euro version steer you away from this excellent set of clippers.

I recently graduated cosmetology school and BEGGED my mom and dad to get me the Spirit Platinum clipper/trimmer combo. I knew Oster was a good brand, the price of the two together was a great deal at my local professional beauty supply store, plus I loved the shiny, platinum look. Over all they have been a huge disappointment. The clippers don't cut hair well AT ALL, I have to run over one patch of hair 10+ times to get all the hairs. As for the trimmers, they do not get a close shave at all, the hairline looks like about a week grown out immediately! Luckily the store I purchased the set from has a 60 day return policy, I plan on returning them in a couple of days.

These are the worst hair clippers I have ever purchased!!! I bought them, thinking they were a good buy, a quality product. NOT!!! Don't be fooled! Not only that but they won't plug into your outlet if you live in the U.S. I had no idea they wouldn't plug into my outlet and I spent all this money them and now I can't even return them!!! What a waste!!! This seller is horrible to work with. They haven't returned any of my emails from a week ago! I even bought a converter to plug into my outlet to enable the clippers to work and the clippers just made a buzzing sound. They didn't even vibrate at all! This product is a total rip-off! Don't buy it! Or anything else from this seller because the seller is not very user friendly!!
