Works well and has a very quiet motor to the point your not sure its cutting anything. Id say it would work better for people with finer hair as well and that's not me. But that said it worked well and im now on my 6th haircut using them without an issue. My advice is to oil the blades with the enclosed oil provided before every use. I didn't do that the first time and it made a difference. The tiny trimmer is worth the price of the whole package as far as I'm concerned. Very convenient and good for any sensitive areas you occasionally might need to trim. A very inexpensive trimmer that does a decent job.

I have not yet attempted to contact the Mfr about my dissatisfaction with this product, but I am writing product reviews for other purchases and decided to write one for this purchase while I was at it. I will update if the Mfr does anything to make this purchase right.

I bought this product because I had experience with an old Oster clipper unit, used regularly for 18 plus years. I was looking to purchase a corded (120 VAC) product with the reasonable expectation of having additional cutting power. At this time in my life, I mainly use this clipper unit for trimming a goatee and my beard is not exceptionally thick. This is a job that used to take at most 3-4 minutes with my old Oseter clippers once they were out and ready to go. With the new Oster 76300-400 and the larger of the two clippers this job takes 4 times as long, 12-16 minutes. This is extremely frustrating. we had an issue with it pulling hair at first but after we oiled it and what not it works great couldnt be happier with the product and the boyfriend loves the little one that comes with it so he can trim his facial hair and sideburns
