Battery doesn't last,

I looked and researched for a battery powered clipper for quite a while before I purchased the Oster. After a few weeks the battery on this unit declined fast, now it won't go a minute with out plugging it in. Other than the battery issue it's not bad but the reason I bought it was for cordless use.
My old clipper with worn out blades still lasts over a month with out charging and is well over 3 years old.

I'm returned this unit due to charging issues. I followed the instructions on full charge & discharge for the first few issues yet it continues to be unable to hold a charge for even 10 minutes without shutting off. If you turn it off you can get another minute or two at a time, but it is a real pain. They got two stars only because they are good clippers if you can get by running directly plugged into the charge cable. This is the correct review for this item. Someone changed it! Hmmmmmm!
Like all the others, Batter Failed,

I wish that I could honestly say nice things about this trimmer/clipper, but like (it would seem) nearly everyone else, my battery stopped holding a charge within a month. Then I ran it off the cord for, maybe, six months, at which point that solution failed (whether the problem is with the unit or the cord, I don't know). Don't get me wrong, for the first few weeks there it was a great device, but once the battery went, half of the reason for purchasing this model was gone. Then, of course, once the "corded version," if you will, died, well, now it's just garbage for the landfill, which is just depressing.
