The trimmer features a rotary blade system that uses a circular blade action for efficient hair trimming. The groomer lets you get close along the inside of your nose or ear wall for a neat trim. Ergonomic Design and Battery-Operated Convenience
The trimmer features an ergonomic curved design and grip that makes it easy to hold and maneuver. It runs on one "AA" battery (not included) and operates for up to 90 minutes, so you won't have to worry about power outlets or cords. Summary: Delicate champion II 2010-03-03
Comment: I've had several Panasonic trimmers, and this one is the best. The motor is stronger than the others, and the vacuum feature helps. But one drop onto a hard floor and the unit is dead. I've dropped 3 or 4 Panasonic trimmers over the years and each one died on impact.

Summary: Best Nose Hair Trimmer EVER 2010-03-03
Comment: I don't write many reviews, but this one is worth while. I've had a couple different trimmers over the years, but this one certainly wins the award for best EVER. It requires 1 AA battery and amazingly spins at extremely high RPMs. As a result, hair trimming is quick, easy, & painless. It didn't pull the hairs or make my eyes water...I'm impressed. Also, the vacuum feature seems to work as advertised. I had no left over trimmings in my nose to cause itching or sneezing. The only negative I could find is that it will actually trim VERY close and thoroughly, leaving almost a stubble in your nose that can be irritating for a couple days when you rub your nose. Now I just don't trim as thoroughly and I have no issues. Thanks for a great product Panasonic!

Comment: I just turned 30 and my nose hair has started to get out of control. I guess I just assumed that it wouldn't happen to me but, alas, it did. When I first noticed the occasional hair poking it's ugly head out of my nostril I decided to purchase a beard trimmer with a nose hair attachment. It was okay for those baby hairs but at some point in the aging process they got out of hand and I needed a solution. I debated spending $20 such a specialized product but it was absolutely worth it.
The product runs on a single AA battery, I'm using an Energizer Lithium battery for extended life. The unit is also larger than I expected, the size is required to support the vacuum motor and fan, but it's not too big, it fits comfortably in my hand. A cap is supplied to cover the end that spends the most time crammed into your nose. On said clip there is a small mirror in case you need to trim up when no mirror is available, an added bonus. The small black inconspicuous bag is also a nice touch. Now that I spent the money I sort of wished I would have spent a little more for a unit with a built-in light.

Comment: We've had this since Dec. 2009. I had great expectations, but the performance is not that much better than our $8 cheapo. It still doesn't catch the hairs without a lot of manipulation and effort.

Comment: This is the first ear/nose hair trimmer I have ever used, so I have nothing to compare it to. The unit feels substantial and well made. The battery cover comes off in a 1/4 turn and appears watertight. The blade end easily disassembles for cleaning, although there is a thin plastic "stick" that seems a bit frail and if it fails I sure the whole thing would die.
As far as results go, it certainly cuts hairs. It actually tickles a little in your nose and is loud in your ear. In your nose the hairs are left very short and prickley. I found this to be an uncomfortable feeling for the first 24 hours, but then got used to it.
