The trimmer features a rotary blade system that uses a circular blade action for efficient hair trimming. The groomer lets you get close along the inside of your nose or ear wall for a neat trim. A safety cone guides hair into the blades, it and prevents the blade itself from coming in contact with your skin in order to protect it from cuts or injury. The blades feature stainless steel construction for long-lasting sharpness.

Ergonomic Design and Battery-Operated Convenience
The trimmer features an ergonomic curved design and grip that makes it easy to hold and maneuver. It runs on one "AA" battery (not included) and operates for up to 90 minutes, so you won't have to worry about power outlets or cords. The trimmer measures a compact 1.2 x 5.5 x 1.9 inches (WxHxD), so you can easily bring it with you when you travel. A protective cap is included.

Comment: This is an excellent product with quality construction. I didn't think the vacuum would work so well but it does much to my surprise. The Panasonic ER430K does everything it is suppose to and does it very well. You can't go wrong for the price!

Comment: After 9 months of use, the trimmer began pulling hair rather than cutting. Keeping a fresh battery in the trimmer helped, but the blades have definitely dulled. Panasonic offers a replacement "blade block" assembly (WER416K1058) for $11.35 (plus $5.95 for shipping). Not really a great value given the price of a new unit and that I can get it shipped free with my Amazon Prime membership.

Comment: I'll admit, I have a little ear hair which is why I bought this and I used to have a norelco brand that had a rechargeable battery inside, it worked great until the battery refused to hold a charge. I looked for a good replacement and came across this Panasonic unit and it really does a decent job. I do find I have a slightly harder time using it around the ear but it does cut the little hairs without any pulling or pain. I'm very happy that this uses a AA battery and is easily replaceable. I am curious how long I'll actually beable to use it before I have to replace the battery. So far I've used it for about 2 weeks and it's still running as strong as it was when I first put the battery in so all looks good.
