The razor is a simple shaver. Don't expect a trimming attachment or being able to run the razor without a charge and just use the power cord--it must be charged. The cut is close and outstanding. If your looking for a trimming attachment I would suggest you just get a full grooming kit as that works much better than a shaver attachment anyway. If your looking for a razor to give you a close shave that won't tear your face up in the process, then this razor is perfect. I think the Norelco brand has always produced quality products and this razor proves the legacy of quality continues within the company.

Pro's:
-Lightweight, small, and charges up quickly.
-Quiet

Con's:
-Have to go over spots twice or more to get a decent shave
-Not waterproof

Personally, i wouldnt recommend this product at all, as anything that makes mornings harder than they have to be isnt worth it.. But if you need a cheap electric razor and dont mind the hassle due to the weak shave, go for it.

I tried the 6945 and I must say it worked fine. It wasn't a spectacular shaver, but it did the job with a little finesse from myself. My normal shaver for the last three years have been a Norelco Arcitec. Admittedly I have been spoiled. With the 6945 I found myself moving my head around to get at spots that the Arcitec normally reaches. This was the main difference for me between the two razors. While the blades are flexible in the 6945, it just doesn't pivot enough to match the range of my arcitec. That's what a couple hundred dollares more will get you.

If you are looking for a basic entry level razor this work is very good.
