Proraso has a long standing reputaton in the shaving industry so if you have never tried them, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Unlike some aftershaves with a heavy alcohol content, this does not "sting" but still provides a fresh, zing on application due to the menthal and allatoin. Won't dry skin, leaves face soft and supple. Very light fragrance fades and does not interfere with cologne or other fragrance. Simple, effective and very pleasant aftershave.

This stuff is by far the best aftershave I have ever used. It has a slight burn for the first few seconds, then transitions into a cooling/tightening feeling that lasts. The scent is also very clean, and not too weak or overpowering. Perfectly in the middle.

It wasn't immediately apparent from the product description that this product had alcohol in it, so hopefully this review will be helpful to a few out there. This product has alcohol in it, and I would guess 25-30% of it is alcohol. Most alcohol-based aftershaves are about 40% and this is a close 2nd. I still use it but then use immediately afterward (after drying) a lotion-based product such as Lubriderm 6-in-1 lotion or Nivea for Men aftershave lotion. Apply this product when your face is still damp (not dripping wet) from towelling off or after your bloc osma (USE THIS) treatment for best effect. If you don't have dry/sensitive skin, you're done and in awe of how clean shaven and good you smell ;) If you have dry/sensitive skin however, treat yourself to applying some Lubriderm or Nivea men's lotion for the best after-shave experience available. Oh, and start your process with a SOAP, not a cream.
