I am in the Army and shave every day and have been using this product for about 6 months along with the proroso shaving cream and a merkur razor. Works well, biggest thing I noticed is reduced irritation and less breaking out as a result from having to shave daily. The jar I received is about half way empty after 6 months but I only use it as a preshave. Hard to say if it really makes a huge difference but it can't hurt.

My husband has a REALLY sensitive face and was unable to shave daily for work. This product helped him fix that, no more red bumps and pain. The whole series of shaving products are great. We have repurchased this product multiple times.

Up until now I wasn't much of a pre-shave lotion or post-shave lotion user. I simply suffered with razor burn. The reason why is that most of the products I used in the past, which turned me off to using any products at all, all contained alcohol or other ingredients which served to irritate my skin even more. That is until I found this Proraso product.
A little dab on the finger tip will do the trick! I used just a little bit and rubbed it into my wet beard before applying my Proraso shaving soap. I definitely noticed a difference in razor glide and more importantly I didn't get the typical razor burn I am accustomed to getting from my Schick Quatro. After the shave I used a little more and worked it into my skin. My face felt smooth, soft, and did not burn. This product gave a nice soothing feel.
The Proraso Pre and Post Shave Cream doesn't have any lingering fragrance after use that I can detect. The fragrance I could detect while using it was pleasant to me...Read more
