Summary: Close shave at a reasonable price 2010-03-08
Comment: I am pleased with the performance so far. I don't have to go over the same area numerous times to get a close shave and the shaver does not leave stray hairs behind that later have to be removed by the trimmer. The shaver also holds its charge for a much longer time than my previous shaver and has a handy indicator light that tells you when the charge is getting low.

Comment: Sadly, I got this off a Consumer Reports recommendation and I love that magazine. When you see this many 1-star ratings compared to 5, you better listen up.
This is one of the worst electrics I've ever had, no joke. You better have another razor ready after you finish using this one. Enough said!

Comment: My first electric shaver was a Norelco rotary, after a number I switched to a braun. I now am using the Remington ms390 and have found it although a little noisier i find it the better of the three.I have found it to be the best for the soft hairs on the neck. VERY SATISFIED,and would recommend it and [...] where I purchased it.

Summary: Remington razor 2010-02-25
Comment: I purchased this Remington razor because I needed to replace a Braun one (the second one I've owned) and Consumers Report recommended this Remington. This is the first time that I have been dissatisfied with a Consumers Report chose! The new razor does not give me as good a shaves as the old Braun even though it needed a new head and blades. I will go back to Braun!

Comment: This razor works very well. I have had a Braun for quite a number of years, but was unhappy with the last one as it did not last very long at all. This Remington actually shaves closer and faster than the Braun.
