The foil and cutter appear to be of good quality. I was prepared that the foil probably wouldn't have the same hole pattern based on a review I saw for another second-source foil set. But what didn't occur to me was the possibility that the actual holes in the foil would be of a smaller diameter than my original foil, and that is the main problem I have with this set.

I think I have pretty coarse beard hair, so what this means to me is that I have to go over the same area again and again and again before some of the hairs find their way through the smaller foil holes to be cut. It definitely takes a lot longer now to complete my shave, and I also have to do it in front of the mirror so I can see the hairs that are constantly being missed instead of being able to walk around and shave.

It's too bad because I really wanted to like this foil set and continue using this razor. Instead of now buying Braun's replacement foil set, I think I'll just be looking to...Read more

The blade portion did not have the tabs needed to hold it to the razor. I contacted customer service and had to send pictures before they told me none of the blades they have contain the tabs. I decided not to return because the cost of return shipping was about how much I paid for the item. The foil did fit and could be used.

This replacement did not appear to be genuine factory. Although the price was good, and it does work, it seems to take a lot longer to shave. I will order a factory replacement next.
