5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding tweezers, February 18, 2008

I've had a pair of standard Revlon tweezers in the past, and I've used a pair of Tweezerman tweezers, but the Revlon Diamond Grip slant tweezers are the best I've used so far.

The Tweezerman's are nice, but they seem to dull quickly and lose their grip. True, you can send them in for free sharpening, but who wants to do that twice a year for something that costs under $20? My old Revlon tweezers held up for a couple years before they wore down and became useless. I opted for these diamond grip tweezers this time around, and I'm happy I did.

They work great for thicker eyebrow hairs, and pull them out with no problem. However, where they're really worth their money is with the finer hairs. They manage to get a strong grip on the fine hairs, and if you pull them a little slower, those fine hairs do not break with these tweezers. I found that the Tweezerman and my older Revlon would slightly lose their grip on the finest hairs, which would result in more...Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible tweezers, July 9, 2009

I was really excited to try these tweezers but my expectations for them fell flat. The tweezers grip very well, but 70% of the time, the tweezers snip the hairs instead of pulling them out. This results in unsightly stubble that makes you look like you tried to shave your eyebrows. Additionally, since the tweezers often snip the hairs instead of pulling them, the roots of the hairs aren't removed. This causes the hair to grow back very quickly and for you to have tweeze them very frequently. Even if you tweeze the hairs gently and only pull the hair in the direction of its growth, these tweezers will still snap the hairs. Don't waste your money on these tweezers. I've returned these tweezers and have invested in a pair of quality Rubis tweezers--Rubis makes fantastic tweezers.

These are by far the best tweezers I have ever used. Whether your hairs are thin or fat, silky or coarse, wet or dry, these tweezers tweeze them all without fail. The grip holds tight, never slipping, and the jaws are perfectly cut for positive gripping. Highly recommended and well-worth the price (because lets face it, a pair of tweezers that can't grab or pull out a really annoying splinter isn't worth any amount of saved money).
