Like the previous reviewer, I too have tried every high-end tweezer on the market. These Rubis tweezers are the best, hands down. They will grab even the tiniest, thinnest hairs and pluck out the whole thing with no breakage or irritation. Unfortunately my bathroom has a tile floor and I've dropped these tweezers more times than I care to admit... if they land on the tips then they're done for--even the slightest dent or knick will prevent them from grabbing properly. I've tried many different brands and types of tweezers, including Tweezerman, but I've had excellent luck with Rubis and can't imagine purchasing any other brand now. These are extremely sharp and fine tipped with a slant, which means you can grab hold of even the finest of hairs with ease and pluck virtually painfree. Just be careful you don't drop them; the tips are so well honed that the slighest impact can bend/tweak them to the point of uselessness.

Better than conventional tweezers, but not extraordinary,

This item is worth the money, because it's quite an improvement over drug store tweezers I've had. But it doesn't pull out the very fine hairs by the roots.
