I love the Silk Effects systems. It gives a very close shave and it is almost impossible to knick yourself when using it.
I think this system has been replaced with another product and the refills are hard to find. I was thrilled to find these online, and scooped up a bunch!
Great price and prompt delivery!

Smoothest shave, with virtually NO cutting!,

This is my very first review on Amazon. That should tell you how much I LOVE this razor. It gives a super close shave, no prickly hairs left behind, just as smooth as a baby's bottom. Also, it cuts my shaving time in half because I can shave at any angle, at any speed without having to worry that I will cut myself. The razor has these thin thin wires that keep you from getting cutting yourself if you slip up or anything. It's a bit hard to explain how it keeps from cutting you, but it does! I can say that it was my first wet razor back around age 12, (I'm now 23) and I STILL haven't changed to anything else despite trying Venus and even some men's razors! Bottom line, this razor kicks butt!
Recommended for: first time wet shavers to keep from knicks while learning to shave.
People who have a sensitive area they need to shave that are afraid of getting a knick in that area.
People who have to avoid knicks at ALL costs.
Anyone and everyone!

These are hard to find in stores so I now depend on Amazon.
I am a big fan of Schick Silk Effects. I find the razor more sturdy than the newer models, with a better grip and closer shave - ironic considering it only has 2 blades and the newer ones have 3-4. The current multiple blade versions are all skinny and more difficult to drag up your leg in a straight line. I also find those ones cut more easily. I wish Schick would update this version with the 3-4 blades so that it would still be carried in stores.
