Even ordering this stand on Amazon, I was a little hesitant about purchasing because of the price - thus the four-star rating.
However, it's elegant & stylish (the nickel finish looks great), functional (works as it should - holds my Dovo straight and porcelain shave brush perfectly) and compact (small enough to sit neatly out of the way on the sink). Plus, it holds the shave brush just high enough to slide my soap dish beneath the brush bristles (milage will vary depending on the height of your bowl).
If price is a big hang-up, this stand my not be for you. But, after using it, I quickly warmed up to it. I'm glad I got it.

I guess I should have known that pictures can be blown up, but this is ridiculous! I couldn't believe my eyes when I received this rinky-dink little piece of metal. My brush doesn't fit very well, nearly touches the countertop and my Parker 22 seems like it is going to topple over. All this for nearly 40 bucks!! I will be returning it very shortly.

This stand is a perfect gift because it seems to have an almost universal fit. You don't have to know the exact measurements of the safety razor or the brush. It seems to fit most everything because of its design. Small footprint and nice presentation of your shave kit.
