Comment: Great brush. I love the very soft bristles and fast drying. The brush.whips up a wonderful lather. This is a great deal. The brush is a good travel brush due to the fast drying or a great everyday brush too. There is nothing not to love. The stand is a nice bonus too.

Summary: Synthetic badgers beware 2010-07-08

Comment: I bought this recently, being lured by the price since I'm a cheapskate after all. To be perfectly honest I've never used a genuine boar hair or badger hair brush, so I understand that many will consider my opinion worthless. Fine, so be it. Anyways...it's soft and pliable, and has some heft to it which gives it a feel of quality. It lathers up fine too.

Summary: 8 months later and still in love 2010-07-03

Comment: Well, it's been 8 months since I purchased this brush. I'm still very happy with the product quality, design and materials. There is no bristle loss and the bristles are still super soft and have retained their shape. The brush generates a rich thick later with the various shave soaps I've used. The bristles are softer than any grade of badger I've seen, so if you want very soft bristles and no animal products, this brush could be perfect. I'm very happy with the purchase and the quality for what I paid. The free stand was a nice touch too.

Comment: It is hard to believe that this is the same brush that the two other reviewers praised. They are correct, the price is very good. However, I find the brush barely usable because it doesn't make much of a lather and it is so stiff that I have a hard time spreading the lather it does make on my face. I bought this brush to replace a drugstore brush I bought ten years ago for use at my cabin. The drugstore brush was better until recently. My "home" brush is only a pure badger, and it is about 30 years old, but it is totally superior. Buy a badger, you will be happier.

Comment: Great brush, and at a steal of a price. No pigs or badgers had to die to help keep my face silky smooth, thats a plus (even though I'm having pork chops tonight for dinner... that's a whole other animal! lol) So soft on the face and lifts hairs just like a premium best badger. Whips up a buttery lather in about 30 seconds. The free stand is a plus for proper drying and storage. No bristles fell out even on first use. Perfect as a first brush or as an addition to any collection.
