A few years ago I decided to go back to wet shaving with a safety razor after giving all the so-called high-tech shaving systems a try like the Fusion, Sensor, Mach 3, etc. I've tried several shaving soaps and creams in that time, but I have to say that I like the Taylor of Old Bond Street the best. It is richer that any of the others I've tried which include Trumpers and Proraso. While a bit more expensive than the Proraso, it's a bit less than the Trumpers. However, I find that you only need a very small dab of Taylor's to achieve the same lather as the other two, so it appears to be more economical. The lather is rich and produces a very smooth and close shave each and every time especially combined with the Merkur razor and Derby DE blades. I have only tried the Almond to date and I love the fragrance. Not overpowering but refreshing. You wont be sorry with Taylor of Old Bond Street.

Taylor of Old Bond Street as a company does not know how to make a bad shaving cream. I've tried 4 different varieties of theirs and all have been great! Almond is the first that I have tried and I must say my favorite. It is the perfect shaving cream for the beginner. It forms a lather very easily and keeps a good consistency throughout multiple passes. You don't have to be careful with this shaving cream, it will give you a good shave no matter how new your lathering technique is. Truly an amazing product.

I don't know what that other guy is talking about, this smells just like almonds. Feels great, way better than cans
