I'm African American and if you are too you know what a chore it is to shave or do any hair removal to your bikini line without getting razor bumps! They look bad and I tried everything to get rid of them! My search stopped here at tend skin! I used it everyday in the morning and at night until my bumps cleared up before I returned to shaving! The bottle recommends only using it once after shaving but I still do it day and night. Wonderful stuff. Another tip is to always use a new razor for your bikini line, always use hot water, and a good lather that helps hair stick up! Worth the money. This is a steal for the results you get!

While this product has not totally eliminated ingrown hair bumps that I get after getting a torso waxing, it has helped a lot and also greatly lessens the irritation that occurs as hairs start to regrow. To me it seems to work by doing 4 things well: 1. Cleaning and disinfecting (alcohol base) helps to avoid inflamation and infection. 2. Exfoliation of dead skin allows hairs to more easily break the surface and not become a problem. 3. Drying effect also seems to help with reducing inflamation. A light, somewhat granular, residue remains on the skin and appears to keep it dry and less susceptable to bacterial infection. 4. The product ingredients seem to relieve itching. I would defintely recommend this product. Didn't give it 5 stars because my problem wasn't completely eliminated. I have tended to use this product after bumps appear. I found this product in the mid 90's and my husband has used it ever since. It is the best for the razor bumps (painful) as it act by closing the pores and the hair has to go out.

My niece uses it for her legs and it has the same benefit.
