This product does what is suppose to and is a very affordable alternative to the more expensive and elaborate options out there. I use this with the standard Art of Shaving badger brush. Just a few things to keep in mind:

1 - This product is plastic.
2 - This brush stand is meant to hold your brush upside down where the bristles enter the handle NOT at the handle bevel! I.E. the entire handle goes above the U shaped cut out while the bristles hand below. I thought I got the wrong size at first since I was trying to figure out how in the world the brush would fit when the cut out was to skinny and there was not enough vertical space for the brush itself. Finally my wife showed me that I was simply inserting the brush at the wrong location.

This holder works well. The grooved "rack" that holds the brush in place will fit most sizes of shaving brush. It is made of a hard plastic, and does not look like it will be easy to break. There is also an adhesive sticker that allows you to easily mount it on the wall.

The stand is important because it allows the brush to dry in the best position, with the bristles pointing down.

Purchased this stand for the brush that came with my Van Der Hagen premium shave set. The stand will not grip the brush by the handle, opening is too small. It will however go around the bristles with the handle on top. Just rotate your brush as you put it in and it fits nicely. This will help keep my brush dry especially as summer arrives with the excessive humidity here in the south. And at $6 with free shipping how can you go wrong. The stand was well packed and arrived quickly.
