This is a nice brush, For the same money you could get one with a better quality badger hair but there is nothing wrong with this one. looks great and holds a lot of water.

I had the opportunity to go to an Art of Shaving to get a straight razor shave in Washington DC. It was a great experience. When I was asking questions, the barber told me that most of my problems could be solved with a few simple changes. One of which was the use of a shaving brush. It helps lift the whiskers and also massages the shave cream into the skin making for a more comfortable shave. Well, it worked. Since I began using the brush, i have had absolutely no razor burn, far fewer nicks (actually none), and I don't mind shaving near as much. I actually use less shave cream, too. I suggest everyone try a brush at least a few times to see for yourselves.

JUST AN UPDATE:
I recently learned the vast difference between the types of badger hair in brushes. If you really want this brush, get it with the best badger hair possible (silver tip not available with this brush as of right now)
