I have often found that the higher quality the shaving cream, the less damage you will do to your face. I have used all different levels of quality amongst shaving creams and ultimately decided that The Art of Shaving's brand is my ideal product to use. First, it comes in a large quantity, so, for someone like me that has to shave very regularly, it will last me a good while before I have to order another can. Second, I also purchased a shaving brush to apply the cream, so it uses less to do more. Hands down, I find that using this product causes less razor burn and leaves my face more smoothe.

If you want the best, then, this shaving cream is one of them! It will lather like nobody's business. The scent of lavender is intoxicating. Too bad I have since switched to shaving soaps. I like shaving soaps because supposedly they provide you with a closer shave.

But if you're sticking to your guns with shaving creams, this is the one for you. It really does guard against razor burn and helps heal the skin, since it has lavender essential oil in it.

Take one whiff on this stuff and you're hooked. If you're curious about soaps, try what I exclusively use: L'Occitane en Provence Cade Shaving Soap

The entire line of Art of Shaving products are fabulous! My skin has never been better and AofS products make shaving a pleasure. I have been using their products for about 7 months and I get complements on my skin all the time. The Shaving Cream lasts about 2-3 months, the pre-Shave oil about 3 months and the After Shave Balm lasts forever. The one bottle I have is about empty but I've been using it 7 months! Worth the price.
