V good brush, and a big step up from the last I purchased from a local shave shop for more $. Essentially you're getting the Vulfix name-brand guarantee plus a mighty tall and wide brush (that's what she said) at a super-competitive price. You could certainly spend more for higher-rated bristles or a fancier handle, and you could certainly spend less for something that still produces lather, but this one is the proverbial mama bear porridge - juuuuuust right.

The brush holds a ton of water, a ton, and it's super nice on the face. Call me a philistine, but I just can't see how a silver-tip would be much better.

As for the Royal Shave seller - it's the authentic product, although possibly repackaged into a generic brush box, not sure on that score. They took a day or two longer to ship it out than I'd of liked, but oh well. Again, brand name recognition ensures you have someone to complain to if it happens NOT to be the genuine article.

I like this brush, holds water and doesnt lose any hair. Its been through months of daily use and its very high quality. I recommend this brush.

i had been using a boar hair brush so this is my first badger brush. i did a lot of researching on it before i got it, although it's not as expensive as some brushes it's still 50 bucks so i wanted to make sure i was getting my moneys worth and i'm glad to say i did. this little baby whips up some lather in a hurry. i use the super lather method (shave soap & cream) so you could imagine what kind of lather this brush is whipping up. this is an excellent brush i recommend to anyone.
