Excellent clippers, small, lightweight, the best that I have used,

I have tried at least ten different pairs of clippers over the years and the Wahl Peanut is without a doubt the best for short haircuts. It's very small and lightweight yet it has more power than most of the other full size clippers that I have used in the past. The shape and size of it makes it really easy and quick to use because it fits nicely in the palm of your hand and it's not awkward to hold. It cuts very well for short haircuts but I am not sure it would be the best for longer and thicker hair because it's so small. It comes included with clipper oil, blade guard, brush and 4 cutting guides. I do wish that it come included with a case of some sort but that's not a huge deal. Another very nice thing about these clippers is that the blades are removable and replaceable so if the blades get dull then you can just replace the blades.

First impression: Pretty small, good reviews EVERYWHERE i look. Looks kinda cute, don't completely like the idea of it being peanut shaped, it doesn't seem very professional. But as soon as you hold it you realize wow, this was MADE for your hand. Try any other one, and you'll feel the difference is clear, the peanut feels great in your hand, and it doesn't feel like your using just a tiny little thing, it feels high quality. Cleaning instructions are easy to use. Peanut vibrates a lot.
This is the second professional quality clipper set i've owned. The other is an Andis Ultra set. Price of that set was 35 bucks. This set was 45 for me in total. Without a doubt there is a quality difference i noticed. More money gives you more powerful motors and more efficient motors. There are 3 main brands, you might hear otherwise from other people, but the top brands i look for are oster, andis, and wahl. Oster being the top of the line, and andis and wahl have competitive products...Read more

The best clipper for short hair, and trimmer for short beards I've used. There is a cordless version, Wahl Cordless Peanut Clipper 8663, that works equally well plus has the convenience of mobility and travel. It comes with combs for sizes 1, 2, 3 and 4 and trims to nearly bald with no comb attached. Flip it around with no comb attached and it is perfect for trimming beards to scruff. There is nothing close to this and the 8663.
