I'm a student at Stockton Barber College, and I was interested in finding an alternative to the Oster 76 Classice detachable blade clipper. I have used Wahl clippers since Junior High School, and I was always impressed with the quality and durablity of the clippers. So I decided to search for a Wahl detachable blade clipper, and I found the Sterling Stinger. I found the price was about the same as the Oster 76, but you get more bang for your buck, for instance you get 2 blades the 1 and 000 as well as 8 steel attachable guards, blade ice, blade holder, and clipper oil. I purchased the clipper March 2011, but I didn't use them until June 2011 after I purchased all the blades. In the meantime I went to a hair show in San Jose, CA, and I asked the Wahl platform stylist to give me a bald fade using the Sterling Stinger, so I could see how the clipper cuts.
